Gosh, it's been a LONG time

Well, this is what you get when it's been over a YEAR since one (namely ME) has not posted on her blog.  I dumped a bunch of pics off of my phone, and maybe a few off of my camera, and I decided to put them all into one post in no particular order.  This is our life!  Crazy busy.  And I would not change a thing.  Except a few things.  Or more.  Oh well.....life is not perfect but it keeps on rolling and we take it a day at a time!  Enjoy the pics - I will try to get back to regular blogging, I promise!

Um, yes, this would be Christmas.  From last year.  I told you that I was way behind!

She still had most of her teeth....shortly after this was taken, she lost all of her front teeth.  They still are missing.  However, we can see a few trying to come in.  She did not eat corn on the cob this summer.

This pic kind of scares me.....however it seems to be the way these kids roll.  This pic was actually taken last Christmas Day.  Still way behind on pics.  Yup yup.

One of her fav Christmas gifts - Josh got her a bow and arrow.  A real one, as she asked for.  We didn't think she could pull it back but, you guessed it, we were wrong.

Her Elizabeth doll with her new ice skates.  And matching shirts for both of them!

 Now this one seems better!

Ballet class with Alice Ann - who is now gone off to college and left us!  We are still looking for a replacement....

Josh earned his First Responder certification....and promptly applied to be a volunteer fireman.  And they hired him!  Scares me to death, but his Papa Jim is pretty proud!

Cali spent her 8th birthday with these special girls.......

More birthday fun - I know that trampolines are terribly dangerous BUT they are SO MUCH FUN!

Josh and friend Tyler at prom.  Not sure what they are doing.  Don't want to know.  End of story.

Guess who figured out how to take a selfie on her phone?  Brilliant, that I am.  Teheheehee!

Um, yes, this would be last Christmas.  The music was really good!

Our vacation this year was just us 3 - kind of nice, kind of strange, missed our boys like crazy!  Love that they are growing up and doing their own thing but hate that they had to miss out on the Coconut Crab Soup from Sear's Landing.  Oh well - their loss!

Favorite pic from our vacation.  Best one!

And we are now into about February of 2014 - this is Cali's square dancing exhibition.  Kind of fun!

Just a random weekend that Tanner was able to make it home for a visit - and we had to take a pic.  It doesn't happen very often so we try to document it when it does.

Nana came for Josh's graduation, and to read her story of Flat Stanley to Cali's class.  She is such an over-achiever.......someday maybe I'll be just like her.  Probably not, though.  I did not inherit her artistic abilities.

This has  been the most recent masterpiece - a key lime pie with mile-high meringue.  It was AWESOME.  I was pretty proud of this one!

Prom!  Josh was not thrilled, as you can see.  But the young lady sure was!

And graduation - my camera did a terrible job, so all I have are pics from my phone.  And an uncooperative graduate (at least with his parents).

Josh and Maggie - best friends for a very long time.

Josh and Emma - this is a recent football game that Tanner did not get to come home for, so I took pics on my phone all through the evening and sent them to him.  This was one of them.

Josh helping Cali with her nightly reading.  Sweet, sweet picture of these two.

I assist with a Rally for the Cure golf outing at our local country club - I had to hang out on the north-back-forty for a game of some sort, so I took a pic.  It was a gorgeous evening!

 Someone just recently got glasses!

Josh's first day of college classes for his Diesel Tech program.  Looks sharp!

I both love and hate this picture - it is missing Tanner, so I hate it.  But it is such a good family pic that I love it!  It is actually our most recent directory picture.

Easter morning......always have to have a HUGE hair bow for Easter!

 Coloring Easter eggs with friends!

And we are back to square dancing....this time with her Dad.  Pretty cute to see her give directions to him!

2014 Cheer Camp - she loves this stuff!

Of all of the pics that I've posted today, this is perhaps my favorite.  This was just before Josh was boarding the bus to go to dinner for the Prom, and Cali decided that he needed help with his button on his jacket.  So typical of her and him together.

Recent selfie before church.  She is so photogenic!

And the birthday party girls, once again.  I found these sweet Chinese fans at the local dollar store and the girls thought they were pretty neat!

A quick trip to the American Girl Doll Store - and of course we walked out with Julie.  So then we had to celebrate at the Cheesecake Factory, where they of course had doll chairs to accommodate such a special guest.

Josh and Alex - just another good friend.
